I am a writer and editor based in New York and have been covering architecture, design, and urbanism for a decade. I was previously an editor at Architectural Record magazine, reporting on the built environment here in New York as well as Singapore, Zurich, and Fayetteville, Arkansas, among others. My writing has been published in The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, Architectural Review, Metropolis, Surface, AD Pro, Wallpaper, Curbed, Places Journal, CLOG, Oculus, The Steel Institute of New York’s Metals in Construction magazine, and others. I have an M.A. in journalism from Columbia University and a condensed version of my thesis was published in Places Journal.
